I chose to work on this song because it is very different to what I normally do. The song is very catchy and what stands out to me are the drums and electric guitars. The song also has many synth sounds that makes it very fun to work with.
Variations

In this variation, I have taken the drums out of the mix. What I really like about this version, is that it focuses and highlights the synth sounds, electric guitars and vocals. It almost seems like an acoustic version of the song. Seems to make the song a bit mellow and relaxing.

In this variation, the electric guitars have been removed. This version brings focus to the drums and vocals. This makes the song sound a bit more like a pop song in my opinion.
Because of the two different variations above, it gave me ideas on what I could add and change to make it different and make it my own. Listen to the variation below.

In this third variation, I added completely different drums to the intro and verses of the song. This gave it a more pronounced Pop sound. I added shakers, claps, transition sounds between the verse and chorus, a subtle ambience sound in the verses and finally a metallic percussion sound resembling the guiro used in Latin Music.
